God’s wondrous acts are overwhelming and continuously
flows by thousands of folds! My tears rolled
down freely as I marvel His graces
everyday and most especially when we landed in Canada, particularly in Squamish.
My son and I arrived Thursday night, and
on Saturday morning, we were hired at work! God is so great! wondrous acts
wondrous acts wondrous acts.
The moment we
arrived, we searched for the nearest church in North Vancouver or Burnaby, then
come Sunday, it’s a miracle that our
worship service is just a walking
distance from our residence! We came just in time for the first inaugural
worship service of the Church of Christ
(Iglesia ni Cristo) here in Squamish. It was Ms. Erma Naz, Thess ‘ cousin
who showed us the way to find our
church. We felt so
indebted to her.
The above
mentioned scenarios are top of the line
priorities for a member of the Church of Christ; place of worship and
work. These had not been achieved
without the kind couple Lawrence & Thess Jolicoeur. We had
several instances of welcome celebrations!
From the
airport, to Whistler, to many other beautiful places, the couple showed us
around. Thess as our career consultant, offered us a home, accompanied us applying
for SIN number from Canada Service near
our new residence, get the
medical service card (MSP) ready, do banking, go library, and fill in some more of our other
needs. As a matter of fact, finding a
job became easy for us because of her assistance. She accompanied us directly to employers! We felt
so blessed and so thankful to God for
making them true Christian instruments so that we could attain our dreams too.
As new landed
immigrants, confidence built up fast because the assurance and support in all aspects were
met. And I believe that these are the focal strength NIICA offers. It is my
honor to recommend NIICA to those who wish to become part of Canada. Welcome to
Canada!

Almost 4 months now since I packed up and stepped on Canadian soil, I have no regrets on deciding to migrate to Canada. I know that by getting here, I can give my family the chance to have better lives as first class citizens. I give credit to Ms. Thess Jolicoeur for guiding me all the way especially on filling out the papers and going over on how to pass the interview by the Canadian Embassy consul. Currently, I am working as a Client Care Representative at Telus Telecommunications Inc., which is one of the Top Canadian Employers. I am happy and smoothly integrating myself to the Canadian society. With much hope, I also aim to obtain my Canadian license as a dentist. Thank you for the help, Ms Thess! For those aspiring immigrants, remember that patience and hard work pay off! See you here in Canada!
